Our Strategy

We use a traditional practice called Council where individuals gather in a circle to illustrate equity, share stories and listen deeply. The techniques in this practice teach individuals a new way to actively listen and storytell from a place of authentic experience rather than bias and judgement.

Through this practice we can begin to mitigate unconscious bias, share diverse perspectives, actively listen, create a safe space, amplify marginalized voices and identify shared humanity.

Welcome

Welcome in new team members and create a sense of belonging from the beginning.

Run Council periodically, monthly or quarterly, to maintain and continue fostering that sense of belonging.

Council can be used on an ad hoc basis to address specific challenges or themes (that are occurring in the workplace, organization or globally).
